income tax rates were 34.6% and 33.2% for the three months ended
March 31, 2010 and 2009, respectively. The rate for the three
months ended March 31, 2010 was higher than the comparable
period in 2009 due primarily to an adjustment to the
Company’s balance of deferred taxes during the three months
ended March 31, 2009, partially offset by lower state tax
rates and a more favorable geographic distribution of earnings for
the three months ended March 31, 2010.</font></p>
