Name Change



    Effective January 30, 2000, Dayton Hudson Corporation changed its name to Target Corporation (the "Corporation"). No other changes were made to the
Corporation's structure and it continues with the same rights and obligations as the former Dayton Hudson Corporation. The Corporation is listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol
TGT.



    The
Articles of Merger effecting the name change are attached as Exhibit (3)A. to this Current Report on Form 8-K.
