| Equipment on Operating Leases | Equipment on Operating Leases Equipment on operating leases consists of leases to retail customers of GM Financial.
The estimated residual value of our leased assets at the end of the lease term was $22.4 billion and $22.7 billion at June 30, 2024 and December 31, 2023. Depreciation expense related to Equipment on operating leases, net was $1.2 billion in the three months ended June 30, 2024 and 2023 and $2.4 billion and $2.5 billion in the six months ended June 30, 2024 and 2023.
