| Share-based Compensation | Note 13—Share-based Compensation The following table presents the equity awards granted to employees and non-employee directors under the amended and restated 2007 Equity Incentive Compensation Plan (EIP) for the six months ended March 31, 2026:
(1)Represents the maximum number of performance shares which could be earned. For the three months ended March 31, 2026 and 2025, the Company recorded share-based compensation cost related to the EIP of $264 million and $250 million, respectively. For the six months ended March 31, 2026 and 2025, the Company recorded share-based compensation cost related to the EIP of $485 million and $465 million, respectively.
