| Future Minimum Payments Due Under Non-Cancelable Agreements | At December 31, 2020, the Company had the following future minimum payments due under noncancelable agreements, primarily related to sponsorships to promote the Mastercard brand and licensing arrangements and a commitment to purchase the remaining shares of a majority-owned joint venture. The Company has accrued $22 million of these future payments as of December 31, 2020.
