Amortization of intangible assets resulting from business combinations for the three months ended October 31, 2025 and 2024 was $386 million and $354 million, respectively, and for the nine months ended October 31, 2025 and 2024 was $1.2 billion, and $1.3 billion, respectively.

Goodwill

Goodwill represents the excess of the purchase price in a business combination over the fair value of net assets acquired.
