Basis of Presentation	Note 1. Basis of Presentation The condensed consolidated financial statements of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. and its subsidiaries ("Walmart," the "Company" or "we") included in this Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q are unaudited. In the opinion of management, all adjustments necessary for a fair presentation of the condensed consolidated financial statements have been included. Such adjustments are of a normal recurring nature. Interim results are not necessarily indicative of results for a full year. The condensed consolidated financial statements and notes thereto are presented in accordance with the rules and regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC") and do not contain certain information included in the Company's Annual Report to Shareholders for the fiscal year ended January 31, 2011. Therefore, the interim condensed consolidated financial statements should be read in conjunction with that Annual Report to Shareholders. Certain prior year amounts have been reclassified to conform to the current year presentation.
